A man in India learned this the hard way when he nearly died after eating a highly venomous snake . According to reports, the snake was dead, the victim of revenge by one Zaver Rathod, a 35-year old man whose grasp on common sense and reason apparently weakens when incredibly small amounts of money are involved. Rathod, who killed the snake after it bit his friend in the city of Surat, was encouraged by his friends to eat the dead snake for 100 rupees. The farm laborer eventually became violently ill and ultimately ending up in the hospital with a severe case of nausea and vomiting. In between the violent expelling of his stomach contents, one can only presume he was laughing over the fact that he totally won the bet. Lucky for Mr. Rathod, the doctors in the hospital that was lucky enough to treat him managed to remove most of the venom before it seeped into his bloodstream and killed him. Additionally, the problem spot felt itchy and seemed to move.   A visit to Stanley Medical College led to a series of tests. As one of the emergency room physicians performed an endoscopy, everything looked normal. Then he saw the legs of an insect. Not knowing the type of insect inside, the physician alerted the head of the hospital’s Ear, Nose, and Throat department. Having previously removed flies, ants , and worms from human skulls, M.N. Shankar, the department head, knew the procedure. Using forceps and a small suction machine, he grappled with the insect for 45 minutes.  Although doctors do not know how the cockroach entered Selvi’s body, they estimate it had been inside of her for around 12 hours. Shocking as an artist cut off half her pinky finger and now wears it as a pendant around her neck. The woman   by the name Torz Reynolds numbed her little finger on her left hand and then used a bolt cutter to saw half of it clean off. To begin with, the Essex body piercer and artist claims she put it in the freezer next to some frozen peas and forgot about it. But then Torz put it with alcohol solution in a glass veil to wear as an occasional necklace. Torz said she thought the idea was "cute" and had thought of doing it for years. She calls the finger 'wiggles'. The 30-year-old claims she initially forgot about the finger until she got the idea finger to turn it into a necklace. "I thought a necklace would be the easiest thing to make and I wanted to do something to mark Wiggles' first birthday." The artist claims she was inspired to go ahead with the chop after a friend did the same thing. .

The iPhone 5 is the latest craze in the technology world, but in China, there seems to be a different issue behind this whole iPhone 5 trend. Apparently, a large number of students are being forced to make the new iPhone 5. In Huai’an, in eastern China, 200 students from the Huaiyin Institution of Technology were hired by Foxconn Technology of Taiwan, the main Apple supplier, to work on the new gadget. The students receive $244 a month for working six days a week, twelve hours a day. With Foxconn having an insufficient number of workers to keep up with the iPhone hype, they also recruited students from the Jiangsu Institute of Finance and Economy to work for them. The students were apparently ordered by their schools to report to Foxconn without their parents knowing about it. We have yet to find out the legal measurements imposed by the authorities on Foxconn after finding out about their illegal doings.
