Single digit number plates are seen as status symbols in Dubai and can only be acquired through government regulated action.   The Dubai millionaire bid $9 million to acquire the number ‘5’ for his license plate having paid $6.75 million for the number ‘9’ at an auction the previous year. Ironically, the millionaire claims to be a ‘simple man’ and has not enjoyed the attention which has come with his acquisition .

Shocking as an Ukrainian man  changes his name to iPhone 7 in order to win himself the coveted gadget.  The Ukrainian  changed his name to ”iPhone Sim (Seven)” after probably thinking an affidavit to legally do so wouldn’t make much impact to his account balance as an iPhone 7 would. It all started when an electronics store in Ukraine dared customers to change their names to that of the brand and get the smartphone free of charge – This was to be granted to the first five customers that would do so. According to a report the 20-year-old got his promised prize after he legally changed his name. The report also added that the cost of iPhone 7 in the country is $850, while he spent mere $2 on the procedure to change his name. He also said that he is in no hurry to change his name back and he would only do so “when he has children”.

  Shocking as a patient was seriously burnt by a fire which was caused by her fart during a surgical procedure.  The Tokyo Medical University Hospital reported that the fire occurred when the patient was undergoing an operation which involved applying a laser to her cervix, the lower part of the uterus. The laser is believed to have been ignited by the gas she passed.  According to reports, the fire burnt much of her body, including her waist and legs.
