Brave Mum Fights Off Mountain Lion Attacking Son

The mother of a five-year-old boy is reported to have fought off a mountain lion which attacked her son while he was playing in the garden outside their home in Aspen, northwest Colorado, USA.

The boy’s mother was alerted when she heard her son screaming.

She ran out of the house to find the wild animal on top of him.

She then pulled her child away from the beast before her partner called police and started driving the injured boy to hospital.

The child was said to have suffered injuries to his face, head and neck in the attack while his mother was treated for injuries to her hands and legs and released.

  The woman, named Janabai , has a theory about why the male Rose-ringed parrot residing there has such hatred toward her. Her estranged stepson, Suresh, lives in the house and has devoted his energy to training the smart bird to insult his stepmom.   A dispute exists between the two family members, with the stepson feeling that he should have inherited some property when his father died, but instead, Janabai has held onto it. After two years of hearing the parrots direct abusive and foul language in her direction, the woman finally went to the local police station and filed a harassment report against the bird. When thinking of ways to assist the poor, offering free breast augmentation or reduction surgery is probably not the first thing to come to mind, but that didn’t stop health department officials in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu from doing it. Most governments are tackling poverty problems the old fashioned way, trying to make sure that unprivileged citizens have access to food, water, a place to live and basic healthcare.
