Chinese flight attendant training includes combat training so they can restrain unruly passengers

Flight attendant training doesn't get tougher than this - as female stewards undergo military training including WRESTLING and hauling logs.


While smartly-dressed attendants make look ladylike and demure when they're serving on planes , those going through the Chengdu Civil Aviation Academy show that it takes true grit to get there.

Using intense military training sessions which include marching with logs, the women attending the Chengdu East Star Airlines College have to get through the gruelling tasks before they pass on to the next stage of their education.

Dressed in camouflage, they carry out a series of challenging combat drills.

But while they look scary with their fight faces on as they train, they also look the part in their smart uniforms when they're dressed and ready to take to the skies.
