Hospital Apologizes For Leaving Compress In Woman’s Belly
Doctors of one of Vietnam’s largest
obstetric clinics, performed a laparoscopic operation to remove a 5cm by 10cm
compress from the belly of a female patient.
Two months after the surgery, the
patient suffered from abdominal pain.
The doctors later discovered something inside
her belly, which was identified to be a compress that had been left from the
Cesarean operation.
The hospital’s director apologized
to the patient and her family for the error.
