Bizzare as topless sextremist tried to snatch a statue of the baby Jesus at the Vatican just before Pope Francis delivered his Christmas message.

The the doll was part of a larger-than-life nativity scene in St. Peter's Square.

A witness claims to have noticed a woman jumping over the guard rails as she rushed onto the larger-than-life Nativity scene shouting God is woman.

The woman who was later identified as a member of the feminist group Femen, was stopped by police as she grabbed the Jesus and attempted to run away during the Christmas Day protest. 

She jumped over guard rails shouting "God is woman" and had the same slogan painted on her bare back.
A Vatican gendarme stopped her from taking the statue and she was detained.



The incident happened about two hours before Pope Francis delivered his Christmas message to some 50,000 people in the square.

  The woman, named Janabai , has a theory about why the male Rose-ringed parrot residing there has such hatred toward her. Her estranged stepson, Suresh, lives in the house and has devoted his energy to training the smart bird to insult his stepmom.   A dispute exists between the two family members, with the stepson feeling that he should have inherited some property when his father died, but instead, Janabai has held onto it.
