Shocking As Chinese Employees Encouraged to Wear Masks At Work

In the city of Handan, located in the province of Hebei, employees are encouraging workers to wear masks when they are at their jobs in an effort to lessen the tension they feel. 

The concept behind this approach is that Chinese workers believe that they are under constant pressure to control their facial expressions and must always be smiling when interacting with customers. This stress has been taking its toll on office productivity.

But there is a deeper consequence to these employees constantly feeling that they have to be ‘on.’ According to reports, over 600,000 workers die in China each year from overwork. 

If  other companies find that letting workers wear Guy Fawkes and No Face masks at work lowers that number, the government might look into mandating this policy nation-wide and buying everyone a Joker mask. Then everyone will always be smiling.

Shocking as a 16 year-Old Italian boy took his mother to court for constantly posting photos of him on Facebook without his consent. The boy claimed that his mother’s actions had such a serious impact on his social life that he was considering transferring to a high-school in the United States so he could “start over”.   According to reports, the court made a historical decision, ruling in favor of the teen, and ordering the mother to delete all references of him from her social media account by February 1, 2018, or risk a fine of €10,000 ($12,270). When thinking of ways to assist the poor, offering free breast augmentation or reduction surgery is probably not the first thing to come to mind, but that didn’t stop health department officials in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu from doing it. Most governments are tackling poverty problems the old fashioned way, trying to make sure that unprivileged citizens have access to food, water, a place to live and basic healthcare. The Indian state of Tamil Nadu, on the other hand, is taking a slightly different approach, becoming the first state in the world to offer free cosmetic breast surgery to both impoverished women and men.
